The International Trade Administration announced that it will initiate Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty investigations of steel fasteners from China and Taiwan.

The type of fasteners covered by the investigations include standard steel nut, bolts, and cap screws which are classified under the following Tariff Schedule numbers: 7318.15.20, 7318.15.80 and 7318.16.00

The petitioners are alleging dumping margins of 66% to 206% for China and 51% to 114% for Taiwan.

More information can be seen on the Department of Commerce website under ITA. The ITA is expected to make its preliminary injury determinations in these investigations sometime in early November.
