FDA Foreign Entity Registration

| |
As most of our customers are well aware, the rules regarding the importation of all products subject to review by the United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA) will change drastically on December 12, 2003.
One of the new requirements by the FDA is a mandate that every foreign shipper or company that handles food products destined for the U.S. must have a U.S. Agent. The foreign shipper must have a contractual agreement with that Agent to act as the representative of the shipper in case of a Food & Drug Administration inquiry. Western Overseas will provide this service to our customers through our subsidiary, American International. Many of our customers have already appointed us as their U.S. Agent. Due to the severe penalties for errors and associated work, we have established a fee structure for this service of $500.00 as the annual registration fee plus $95.00 per hour for additional services as required.
To request this services, please fill out the following form and return it to Carlo DeAtouguia at carlo@westernoverseas.com or contact him with any questions.
