China’s Heightened Tariffs Suspended for 90 Days
President Donald J. Trump has signed an Executive Order pausing the heightened tariffs on China for 90 days to allow continued trade negotiations.
- New Deadline: November 10, 2025 – a 90-day extension from the date of the Executive Order (August 11, 2025).
- Tariff Status: The current 10% reciprocal tariff will remain in effect during the suspension.
- Other Measures: All other existing U.S. tariff measures on China remain unchanged.
This pause is intended to support ongoing discussions aimed at addressing trade imbalances, eliminating unfair trade practices, and strengthening U.S. economic and national security interests.
