Dear Valued Customers and Carriers:
Effective immediately, we are changing our email coverage and response times for Northern Border Crossings.
* Monday – Friday
* We will respond to all shipment emails till 9:00 pm EST
* We will respond to all emails until 8:00 pm EST
* We will not cover Sundays unless requested in advance
Some suggestions to avoid delays at the border:
* Send your shipment requests with PAPs#, documents, etc., in advance. We are happy to set up the shipment in our system and provide you with the entry# so that your driver is not delayed even if they cross outside our hours of coverage.
* You can send the pre-alert as early as possible. As long as you have the PAPs#, shipping documents, and ETA to the border, please send them to us so we can have the Customs entry prepared. You do not need to wait till the day of the shipment.
* If you have shipments scheduled to cross the border on Sunday, please advise no later than the morning of the day before (Saturday) so that we can arrange for the entry to be transmitted. We will provide you with the entry number and a contact for that day. Without advance warning, we will not be able to clear shipments on Sundays.
