The U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has just announced that they will be increasing the Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) effective October 1, 2023.
These changes are being made following the annual review conducted by the CBP that adjusts MPF fees based on current inflation. These annual adjustments are mandated by the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act.
Please see the below outline with the current and updated MPF fees:

As mentioned, these fee increases are effective beginning October 1, 2023 and should be adjusted moving forward.
